So...I'm closing out April's episodes and heading into May, so I'm almost caught up with what I could see from this year on Emmerdale (Well…I saw two of May's episodes, but more makes sense now). Let's now enjoy my stream of consciousness. See ya on the other side!

Victoria - the only thing I can say about Victoria is the most consistent thing about her is that she is going to be inconsistent. I can never tell where she is going to head other than against Robert. (LOL) Only three things in life stay true: death, taxes and Victoria always betting against her brother (well....sometimes she comes through though). So, I'm not that surprised that its happening again. It's fine. I get it. Because....

John - I have decided to call him Temu Robert or Temu John. I haven't decided what to call him yet. What I do know is that he is a watered-down Robert, but without Robert's charm or authenticity. Yes, Robert cheats, lies and has killed but...there is a layer of charm and authenticity mixed in there. Temu Robert does not have that. He is just...angry. So god damn angry he makes me uncomfortable sometimes. Could be that I don't like Aaron with anyone else but I think he is just an unsettling character which is good, he is a serial killer/psycho so...yeah.

I really didn't like how he yelled at Aaron when he wanted to get married earlier with Chas/Liam's original date. In Robert/Aaron land, they would have been laughing about it and well... let's not kid ourselves, it would have been a happy scene even if one wanted to wait. There would have been heart eyes. Anytime Aaron tries to do the heart eyes/lets do something romantic...Temu Robert isn't....into it. Answers with anger that makes me uncomfortable.

Does he kill/maim because he likes to be in control? Are we sure he is really a Sugden? Was he tested or did he hear about the Sugdens via the socials? Sorry, the way Ryan said 'socials' stuck in my brain. Still, something else is still waiting there and if its not...its a shame from a storytelling point.

From a shipper point of view (duh....fangirl for life) Temu John can go to hell. Robert is home now. He can take it from here. You go. Now. Go have a chat with Alex. See how it goes when Robert is around.

*coughs*

Various thoughts: I can't remember her name to save my life but I call her sad blonde girl and Ross are very cute together. Ross also has a type. Just saying.

Caleb and Cain look a lot like each other and it makes me laugh and I don't know why. Its so dumb. Joe stealing Calebs kidney was wild. Very wild. I'm not over it. I don't think I was supposed to laugh but I did.

Charity and Vanessa - obviously not together, but they don't seem to look at each other anymore. Did it end badly or just...end and we don't talk about it as a show anymore? I do like how Sarah still goes to Vanessa for advice so...there is something there from the past still simmering.

Ruby and her whole storyline (catching the tail end) was very sad and it made me feel for her.

Chas/Liam and Paddy/Mandy....sure. Why not.

I did catch Leyla and Amy's funerals, and it was sad to see. I liked both characters and even tuned in to see Amy and Matty get married because I thought they were cute together. So, to see the funeral was...a...oh no! moment.

Tracy, I still like her as a character, but she is just kind of there right now. A reminder to Temu Robert about Nate. I still hold out hope that she goes back to writing...(lol)

Now...for the big show:

Aaron and Robert. Lets start with Aaron.

Aaron - he is Aaron. There is nothing wrong with him here. On the show. He is being Aaron. Sad boy Aaron. His hair even has 'sad boy' vibes but sad boy that is holding on and chosing to move forward and love again. Something he resisted in the past so...growth? I guess? Ok, just because I'm in shipper land and biased...he sounds bored with Temu Robert.

Seeing Robert at the wedding, you saw his eyes light up. I thought it was just me but watching it over and over again...ahem...like we all were, thank you very much...it's like he woke up. He had this little sun ray moment that went away the minute he pushed Robert away and went to Temu Robert. Still...Aaron is already cooked. Done for! I love it.

Robert - What an entrance. That was great. I love how we got a kiss already and deep cuts of the best Robron lines, along with the angst bridge. YES PLEASE AND THANK YOU! I always picked that happening but also I thought a good way to introduce Robert again was if Aaron running from Temu Robert as he tries to kill him, with Robert saving .his ass. Then he says 'Miss me' (LOL) Either way... loved what we got. A few questions, was Robert checking up on everyone in jail via a secret phone, or has he been put in for a while? Does he know Liv's dead? We know he knows about Rebecca dying and where Seb is right now. So...did anyone tell him about Liv. Was no one gossiping with him in jail? I guess not. He turned everyone away and he knows it. Also, Robert didn't push Aaron when he pulled away from that kiss. He let Aaron put up that boundary. Didn't tell Temu Robert about it. It was their little secret. For now.

What I think will/would like to happen:

Aaron and Temu Robert get married. Sadly.

We get Robert out of jail and gets used to being back in town.

We have backstory on what happened in jail. How it affects him.

We get affair 2.0 but with Robert as the other man. Let it start with Robert dating someone else first and setting Aaron off. (LOL)

That sets off Temu Robert and let the fireworks begin.

Robert making friends with Mack and maybe even Ross? (I have a crush on Mack but I won't be taking any questions about it at this time ;-) )

I noticed conversations about that shot of Robert drinking and how much they focused on that bottle. Could play into the jail storyline and how he is coping.

Robert or Aaron or both get back into the mill. Like...the mill proper. I'm not a fan of how its decorated. It's upsetting. (lol)

I want a Robert Nicola Jimmy moment. I always adored their friendship.

Lots of fun, frustration, and theories are heading our way, and I can't wait. " I'm so excited to see the fandom waking up. It's been a sight to see. It just shows you that 2025 still has some life in it yet.

Did…did Joe just steal someone’s kidney? Like…seriously?!? Just…stole it. Randomly. *snort*

Also it just hit me that Joe, Ross and Robert are back in the village. Let the fun begin!
